Inspired by Jane Davila, who is in turn inspired by Leah at http://creativeeveryday.com/art-every-day-month, I've decided that no matter how small - I'm going to make art every day this month. I spend a LOT of time teaching and writing about making art.
Not nearly enough time DOING. I'm going to take my own advice and MAKE time.
Since I started late I've got two today. Done during hockey practice. Enjoy!

I am missing my kids needing me to take them to lessons where I have to wait around for them. It was a time I could dedicate to hand sewing. I have lots of time to do these things now I just don't make it happen! Your drawings are very inspirational. My youngest daughter is into drawing manga lately and seeing your drawing makes me think how cute her drawings would be in quilt form.
saw them on flickr...relish the simplicity of the birds
I agree Lisa - I actually volunteer for Hockey duty sometimes - just so I can have most of an hour to do hand work, or read a book. It's the only time it happens these days.
Thank you Elk!
I often overwork things so sometimes it's nice to just leave it be.
