This is one reason I love living in North Carolina. Blossoms at the end of February.
I'm also having fun playing with my new Camera Bag app for the iphone.
I took a few minutes after lunch to sketch this scene albeit from a slightly different angle.
I'm sending warm wishes and the smell of cherry blossoms your way.

I don't think we'd even get a hint of the smell of sherry blossoms here. We are deep under a blanket of freshly fallen snow and no end in sight yet. Our blossoms appear later in May here in northern NB.
I have not been to Duke Gardens in years...might have to make a road trip! Our neighbor's trees are blossoming, but my cherries have not flowered yet.
