More Watercolor Bliss

The kidlets and I end up with stacks of leaves in our grubby little fists every time we head out the door.

It's simply glorious here in North Carolina during the month of November.

There are huge flaming trees all above us and individual little works of art in every leaf at our feet.

I've been taking time every other morning to "meditate with color"

Thanks to Vivian Swift's lovely tutorial on

A beautiful little book on visual journaling.

Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful leaf paintings. The linked tutorial was wonderful...Alas, here in Michigan, our leaves have already flamed out and dropped, but I can certainly try this with imaginary ones!

Your leaves are beautiful! I love Vivian Swift's book and blog, and await her new one. I used to love to visit my inlaws in Brevard in the fall for the leaves and spring for the flowering trees and rhodies. A trip to the Parkway would be so fun right now. Wishing you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving. I am so thankful for you and your blog. You always inspire. (Oh and your dvds!!! They always get me out of a slump.) Thanks!
